Our client, the industry leader in Media Marketing, is looking to bring a Cloud DevOps that will be part of the team responsible for solving complex infrastructure problems and do the occasional coding on JS or Python.

Our customers' SRE team supports the internal and customer-facing production operations. As a senior DevOps, you will work directly with engineering leadership to prioritize efforts to align services operations with business goals. You will be a hands-on contributor that teaches by example and mentors other DevOps how to improve services availability, reliability and scalability by driving best practice.

Skills and Qualifications
  • AWS Solutions Architect preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with designing and implementing infrastructure to support global-scale services.

  • Hands-on experience with IaaS and PaaS solutions from AWS.

  • Networking and routing (VPC, DNS).

  • Infrastructure as code (AWS CLI, AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK).

  • CI/CD (CircleCI, Codeship, Github Acitons, or Jenkins).

  • Hands-on programming and scripting (Lambda, Python/Javascript, Bash).

  • Hands-on experience with Web servers and proxies: Envoy, NGINX.

  • Containers & container orchestration: EKS, Docker, Kubernetes.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and explain technical issues to a non-technical audience.

  • Databases: MySQL, Postgres, Redis.

What you'll do
  • Enable engineering teams by building self-service tools and automation providing guardrails for reliability and security.

  • Partner with infrastructure and DevOps leadership to understand overarching business objectives and help team-leads translate those into actionable plans.

  • Help the DevOps teams define technology and business strategies that deliver iterative enhancements to the tools and processes that improve availability, observability, and scalability.

  • Recognize, validate and evangelize emerging technologies and architectures that align with business objectives.

  • Develop tools, pipelines, and automation to manage infrastructure and application configuration via code.

  • Demonstrable ability to learn new technologies and process practices.
