1. Introduction

Thaloz Rewards referred to as Program, is a Thaloz's Benefits Program for all of its team members, referred to as Participants.

The Program’s objective is to reward team members based on their relationship with Thaloz and their participation in its initiatives. These awards will be granted through Drakmas, credited to the Participants who have generated them with the periodicity defined by Thaloz.

The Terms & Conditions governing the Program are established below.

2. Content

2.1 Drakmas

Drakma Coin

Drakmas are virtual tokens awarded as a reward for participating in various Thaloz activities and events. These tokens can be redeemed for a variety of items and benefits in our reward store.

2.2 Program Participation

Any member of the Thaloz team is entitled to participate in the Program and enjoy the benefits that they may obtain from their participation.

During their participation, members will be able to join different activities that will take place during a specific period, which will allow them to obtain Drakmas.

Examples of some of the activities are listed below:

  • Referring Talents.
  • Participating in monthly activities.
  • Conducting interviews.
  • Leading internal talks and activities.
  • Generating content to share on social media internally and externally.

2.3 Drakmas Redeeming

Through their Thaloz account, Participants may request the redemption of Drakmas in the Reward Store for any product or service they wish, according to the quantity they own and the price published on the website at the time of the request.

Once the request is made, it will be reviewed by the Administration for approval or rejection within 48 hours after the request is made. The Participant will be notified via email to Thaloz's email address with the result of the application. In case of approval, the Thaloz People Care team will contact the Participant to coordinate the purchase and delivery of the requested reward.

The Drakmas accumulated in the Program are not transferable between different Participants or to any other person or entity under any title or cause, nor can they be exchanged for cash or any benefit not established in the Thaloz catalog or under these Terms & Conditions.

2.4 Reward Store

The photos or images in the benefits catalog are merely illustrative and slightly different from those shown therein, varying in color and other appearances. The colors, sizes, technical specifications, and warranties of the products in the catalog are the sole responsibility of their respective manufacturers, distributors, or suppliers, and Thaloz is not responsible for the products included in the catalog.

Consequently, Thaloz is not responsible for the obligations of the suppliers of the benefits, nor does it grant any warranty for such products. The only warranty for the products and services redeemed is that given by the suppliers or providers thereof, to whom the Participant shall make any claim he/she may have thereunder.

If, for reasons of force majeure, the suppliers of the benefits do not have any product or service that a Participant wishes to redeem, he/she will be offered to exchange it for another product or service that appears in the catalog or return the tokens to the wallet. The delivery time of the benefits is variable and subject to the suppliers’ stock, and Thaloz assumes no responsibility in this regard. The benefits that the Participant wishes to redeem are non-transferable.

Thaloz reserves the right to modify, add or cancel any benefit without prior notice, as well as the number of Drakmas required to redeem such benefits at any time.

2.5 Website authentication

The only form that the Participants have to authenticate themselves on the website validly is to use an approved user profile to access the thaloz.com website.

This user profile is the same one given to the Participants when they joined Thaloz under the domain @thaloz.com. It shall be the responsibility of each Participant to manage his or her digital username and password with Thaloz before attempting to authenticate or login to the Online Store.

Finally, the Participant agrees not to share his/her username and password with third parties responsible for any transaction or operation in the Online Store associated with his/her credentials.

2.6 Delivery of the services or products

Thaloz will coordinate with the Participant the delivery of the product and service redeemed, being Thaloz who determines the conditions of purchase of the product or service.

2.7 Claims handling under the Program

Thaloz shall only be responsible for the delivery and administration of Drakmas under the Terms & Conditions set forth herein and shall exclusively address any claims that Participants may make concerning such situations. Claims related to the products and services redeemed by Drakmas must be addressed to the manufacturers, suppliers, and providers.

2.8 International flights

If the Participant chooses to redeem a ticket, the Participant acknowledges that the travel services requested for redemption may require obtaining a Passport and Visa, depending on the destination, being the Participant’s sole responsibility to obtain them promptly.

Likewise, the Participant acknowledges that the responsibility for the provision and quality of the redeemed service corresponds exclusively to the service provider, not Thaloz being responsible for the same. Furthermore, the Participant expressly accepts that if a payment is required in addition to the Drakmas exchanged, this must be settled by him/her directly with the service provider, and Thaloz shall not be liable for such payment.

2.9 Special conditions

  • Stock: All purchases will be subject to the stock of airlines, hotels, and other operators. In this regard, Thaloz may define maximums per item and other conditions for specific promotions.
  • Maximum quantities: Thaloz reserves the right to limit the number of products purchased per Participant.
  • Airline Tickets: When purchasing airline tickets, the Participant enters into a contract of carriage with the Airline Company (Transportation Service Provider) and accepts all the Terms & Conditions imposed by it regarding the contracted service, which may even vary from one moment to another, such as characteristics, schedules, stopovers, cancellation policies, return, refund, modification, check-in, baggage, among others; a situation that the Participant knows and accepts declaring that they will have nothing to claim in this regard to Thaloz. Once the airline tickets are issued, they will be subject to penalties foreseen by the airline companies in case of changes in dates, routes, refunds, or cancellations, total or partial. Said penalties may determine a fine, and the Participant shall not be entitled to the reimbursement of these sums nor any compensation if the tickets are not refundable and the penalty consists of the loss of the total amount paid, a situation that the Participant is aware of and accepts. The postponement or advance of the dates stipulated in each case and the change of route, refunds, or cancellations, total or partial, requested by the Participant, may be made whenever admissible per the modalities, conditions, and availability of the Airline Companies. The corresponding penalty they could apply must be paid (in addition to the fare differences if applicable to the case), as well as Thaloz's administrative expenses for management. In any case of refund, whether total or partial, Thaloz may retain the amount corresponding to administrative costs, and the Participant shall not be entitled to any claim whatsoever. Thaloz is not responsible in case of cancellation by the Participant for any reason, for services not taken upon agreed time and manner, nor for the consequences arising from there, such as ticket loss and non-refundable payments, nor other possible damages or prejudices, among others. Thaloz is not responsible for the deterioration, loss, misplacement, theft or robbery, or anything that happens concerning the Participant’s luggage and other personal effects or concerning the Participant's person, whether for services contracted through the intermediation of Thaloz or taken directly by the Participant.
  • Accommodation: When acquiring accommodation, the Participant enters into an accommodation contract with the Hotel (Accommodation Service Provider) and accepts all the Terms & Conditions  imposed by it relating to the contracted service, which may vary from one moment to another, such as characteristics, check-in and check-out times, cancellation policies, return, refund, modification, luggage, among others; A situation that the Participant knows and accepts declaring that he/she will have no claims against Thaloz in this regard. Once the reservation of the accommodation service has been confirmed, any modification or cancellation may incur penalties, and the Participant shall not be entitled to reimbursement of these sums nor any compensation if the service is non-refundable and the penalty consists of the loss of the total amount paid; a situation that the Participant is aware of and accepts. Modifications to the initially contracted service requested by the Participant may be made as long as they are admissible following the Hotels’ modalities, conditions, and availability. The corresponding penalty applied by the Hotels (in addition to the rate differences if applicable) must be paid by the Participant, as well as Thaloz’s administrative expenses for the management. In any case of reimbursement, whether total or partial, Thaloz may retain the amount corresponding to administrative expenses, and the Participant is not entitled to any claim whatsoever. Thaloz is not responsible in case of cancellation by the Participant for any reason, nor for services not taken upon agreed time and manner, nor for the consequences arising from there, such as accommodation loss and non-refundable payments, nor other possible damages or prejudices, among others. Thaloz is not responsible for the deterioration, loss, misplacement, theft or robbery, or anything that happens concerning the Participant’s luggage and other personal effects, or for the Participant's person, whether for services contracted through the intermediation of Thaloz or taken directly by the Participant. All accommodation services that the Participant obtains through the Thaloz Rewards Program will be contracted through Travel Operators so that the Participant expressly consents that in addition to and without prejudice to these Terms & Conditions of contracting, he also fully accepts all Terms & Conditions imposed by such Operators, and declares that he has no claim in this respect.
  • Others: It may also happen that after an order has been approved by the Participant, for various reasons, Thaloz is not in a position to accept it in whole or in part and to cancel or exclude from it some items ordered by the Participant. In this context, Thaloz reserves the right to cancel any transaction.

Attention International flights:

Once the ticket is issued, no refunds or changes will be accepted.
Date changes will be subject to the provisions and penalties imposed by the corresponding airline.
The equivalent of the trip does not apply for travel during holiday periods or high season.
The exchange is for a round-trip ticket. It does not include checked baggage, taxes, or fees. The maximum stay allowed with this amount of drachmas is 15 days.
Any additional amount will be paid by the Thaloz Rewards Participant.

2.10 Time-off days

In order to use the time-off benefit, prior approval of the Client/Employer is required. This benefit may be requested up to 2 times per year.

2.11 Expiration of Drakmas

Drakmas expire two (2) years from the time they were assigned to the Participant's account. Upon expiration, the accumulated Drakmas will expire and will be debited from the account.

Likewise, in the event of a Participant’s contract termination, the Drakmas accumulated by him/her will be automatically lost.

3. Program term and other considerations

The Program is established for an indefinite period, and Thaloz may at any time and without cause modify the Terms & Conditions  set forth herein.

Suppose Thaloz detects fraud (including any attempt of any form of accumulation or redemption of Drakmas contrary to or not authorized by the Program). In that case, the Participant will automatically lose all the Drakmas accumulated. Furthermore, that situation will also lead to possible additional disciplinary action, ranging from termination of the contract to legal action by Thaloz towards the Participant.

Participation in the Program implies the Participant's express acceptance of all the Terms & Conditions set forth herein.

4. Legislation and competent courts

These Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted and enforced following the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. Program’s Participants are submitted to the Montevideo City courts jurisdiction to resolve any controversy related to these Terms & Conditions.
