Inside Engage 2025

Engage 2025

Last week, I had the opportunity to attend ENGAGE 2025 in Las Vegas, one of the most dynamic events hosted by the AICPA & CIMA. Alongside our incredible partners at GR8 Global, we had one mission in mind: to show how borderless teams can help companies scale smarter, faster, and with the right talent for their most critical projects.

What is Engage 2025?

Held at the Aria Resort and Convention Center in Las Vegas from June 10–12, AICPA ENGAGE 2025 brought together decision-makers and innovators from the worlds of accounting, finance, and financial technology to explore the future of the industry.

The agenda was designed to address the most pressing challenges facing today’s financial organizations, with key themes including:

  • Future-ready workforce strategies to attract and retain top talent in a competitive market.
  • Digital transformation in finance, including system modernization and automation.
  • Regulatory updates and risk management insights for navigating complex compliance environments.
  • Technology innovation in financial services, from AI to cybersecurity and data governance.

Financial services: What companies are really looking for

One thing was clear at AICPA ENGAGE 2025: financial companies are under pressure to innovate without compromising security, compliance, or performance. Across sessions and conversations, the message was consistent: the need for specialized, scalable talent has never been greater.

Whether it’s a bank modernizing legacy systems, an insurance company launching digital-first products, or a fintech startup leveraging AI, the success of these initiatives depends on having the right teams in place.

That’s exactly where Thaloz and GR8 Global come in. By building high-performing teams across the globe, we give financial companies a smarter way to scale, without sacrificing speed, compliance, or quality.

Highlights from the event

As we return from AICPA ENGAGE 2025, one thing is certain: the path forward for financial organizations is global, digital, and deeply strategic. These are the insights that stood out most:

  • Global hiring is no longer optional, it’s a strategic advantage: Access to skilled, remote-first talent is now a core enabler of innovation and scalability.
  • Domain expertise sets top teams apart: Employees who understand industry-specific challenges such as data privacy, risk management, and regulatory compliance, bring greater value from day one.
  • Culture and alignment are key to remote success: Beyond technical ability, successful distributed teams thrive on shared values, clear communication, and strong engagement.
  • Compliance-first onboarding is critical: Especially in regulated sectors like finance, onboarding processes must be secure, standardized, and built to meet strict governance requirements.
